Monday - Leaving on foot from the chalet we climb 800 metres to the summit of the Prarion mountain (1969 metres) approaching from the south. Tuesday - Today a scenic drive over two mountain passes into Switzerland, to climb the Arpille (2085 metres.),affording far reaching views up the Rhone Valley and as far as the Bernese Oberland. We pass Swiss "chocolate box" farmhouses on our scenic climb through the Arpille pasturelands.

Wednesday: The Mer de Glace (Sea of Ice) glacier. A chance to see the glaciers and the snow-capped peaks up close. The famous Montenvers cog train leaves from Chamonix and takes you to the edge of Mer de Glace in only 20 minutes!
At the foot of mythical summits (Drus, Aiguille Verte, Grandes Jorasses), the group will progress along the Mer de Glace, in a labyrinth of turquoisae ice amongst the towers and crevasses of the glacier.

Thursday: Free day. There are many options available: downhill skiing
(lessons available), cross country skiing, ice climbing, tandem paragliding, helicopter sightseeing flights over Mont Blanc, a trip on one of Europe's highest cable cars, the Aiguille du Midi, free rides on the Mont Blanc express train and local busses to Chamonix for shopping and sightseeing, Perhaps a relaxing visit to the exclusive nearby spa with indoor pool, jacuzzi, steam bath, sauna, tropical showers, fitness room and outdoor terrace.

Friday: After a short drive through the Mont-Blanc tunnel, we quickly reach 3462 metres and Helbronner peak by cable-car. The wide panoramic view of the south side of Mont-Blanc looks almost Himalayan. One can also admire the south face of the Grandes Jorasses. We rope up for our exploration of the mighty Giant Glacier with a UAGM Mountain Guide.

Saturday: We drive the hill featured in Lance Armstrong's final Tour de France to arrive at the sleepy villlage of Romme (1300 metres) from where we commence our climb to the Tete de la Sallaz 2026. Arriving on this peak 1400 metres above the Arve Valley Is an inspirational experience. We admire some of the other dramatic peaks of the Aravis Mountains stretching into the distance.
